While some people seem to love this stegosaur, it's always been my least favorite in the game, way too chubby and retrosaur in terms of spine alignment. So I reshaped it into something thinner and more accurate, using Scott Hartman's skeletal of the animal as reference. Not 100% accurate since there's some stuff I can't fix without breaking animations (mainly around the plates and eyes), but much closer to the actual animal.
Main changes:
Thinned down considerably, head is still too wide so as not to break eye animations
Head shrunk down and reshaped to give it a bit of a beak look
Plates altered slightly to better follow the real thing, although wasn't able to do this 100% perfectly due to Frontier's model having too few plates in front of the hips (funnily enough the tail is almost 100% perfect in the original model
Modified the feet to have the correct number of toes and removed claws on toes that didn't have them. Technically all the extra toes and claws are still there, but shrunk down to the point where they're hard to spot if they shouldn't be there.
Known issues
Some of the plates kind of animate weird, mainly the ones over the shoulder, but nothing horrible
The right shoulder spike has a missing polygon, no idea why this is happening, tried making this mod from scratch twice and this happened both times, although the second time only one polygon was missing, so I went with that one since I don't want to try making this a third time and just hoping it doesn't happen. If anyone knows what's causing this I'd be glad to fix it, but I'm pretty new to modding this game.
