About this image

So I've been trying to edit dinosaur models with blender. I've unpacked the ovl file using python. However, after unpacking and importing the MS2 model file to blender, I did not get the full model of the dinosaur. Instead, just lines that might represent the skeleton or something please I need your help

Blender Version: 3.1.2.0

Thnx... I just randomly checked, and unchecked some boxes in the scene section. The model appeared. I'm super new at this. It's gonna take a while before I get familiar with model modification. If there are specific things I need to know about the scenes please let me know. Thank You. Another thing if you are familiar, can I make the dinosaur larger with blender? If so, do I need to worry about some kind of skeleton that needs to be adjusted?

Sadly direct scaling won't translate to game. Can only be done with rig editing

What kind of software do I need to scale a dinosaur? Is there a forum, discord, or youtube videos that can explain how to do it? If you know where I can learn to rig edit, can you kindly mention it. Thnx

Thanks. Looks like an informative video that I can learn something from. However, are you familiar with "Rig Editing"? I want to scale the dinosaurs, make them smaller, or bigger

I'm not. Tbh, rig editing is also not really working for making things smaller and bigger, however you can make slight size changes with it.

I'm not planning to drastically increase, or decrease their size. Something like, increasing the spino size about 30%, is that possible with rig editing? Or is it too much? Are you familiar with other methods to scale dinosaurs? Thanks a lot for your help btw, really appreciate it

Omg I just realized the video you commented earlier is about rig editing lol. Looks from the thumbnail, they were able to increase, or decrease the size something like in the 20% range

its possible, however the more you change the size the more weird it gets ingame.

Aha got you. If it got too big, is there a way to fix the weirdness, or awkwardness of the Dinosaur? Or that's just something too advanced to fix
