Your pc is pretty slow. The only thing you can do is keep graphics at a minimum. With 8gigs of vram you should be able to keep textures at medium. But reduce viewing distance to a minimum to reduce load and turn every post processing effect off.

If you're comfortable, turn a couple settings on one by one and see where you go from there. But the most demanding settings by far are ray traced ambient occlusion and foliage, turn those off always. Shadows are pretty demanding too when many objects are around.

Keep your resolution on 1080p if you are using the appropriate monitor. If you're having trouble with fps, try reducing the resoultion scale by 10%. You can go lower, but anything less will make the game blurry and completely unenjoyable imo.

Afaik the game doesn't have AMD FSR, so you're pretty much left with tampering with the game settings. With your rig I think 30-40 fps is basically all you can achieve at best. When there's lots going on on the map, you can expect some heavy frame drops. Jungle maps eat much more fps due to foliage.

Even I'm struggling with fps sometimes and my rig is lightyears ahead of yours.

There's ways to optimize without affecting your gameplay that much. The most obvious ones are getting the video settings lower, but if your PC is as good as mine (which it seems to be) you can sit comfortably with most stuff in high. You should only have your game open, so no browser or other apps. Also, if you're on a laptop, performance will always be better if your laptop's plugged in.

JWE2 is a relatively performance-heavy game, so a cooler for your PC would help miles.

    Good luck!

I have similar issues/specs, one things Ive noticed helps is defraging your ram every now and then as you play. And also making sure you're not wasting space on your drives, either by using an external hard drive, or getting an app like Treesize (what I use) to see whats taking up gigs, where you can delete them.

I already bought the DLC, so if I win, give it to someone else lol
