The design of building entrances in the game is very inconsistent for some reason. Some have closed doors that tourists will phase right through, others have doors that hang wide open, with a black maw of complete darkness just inches past their threshold. I personally prefer entrances with the former design.
This is a simple visual mod that closes the doors on the Jurassic Park-era Gift Shop, hiding the ominous, all-consuming black void within from view. Just copy, paste, and overwrite the ovldata folder in your game files with the one in this mod; only the necessary files will be overwritten.
Note: to reopen the Abyss, you'll need to receive the Key to the Seal from Ingward in New Londo after obtaining the Lordvessel.
