(Final LAS JWE1 mod, for now!) Please welcome this snappy, ferocious megalosaur to your parks! Afrovenator loves large packs and wide open plains. LAS Paleo collection mods aim at recreating dinosaurs as accurately as possible, enjoy! Comes with unique stats, descriptions and much more for an immersive experience.

Note from the team: Hey guys! Its been a long run, and we've absolutely loved the time we've been modding here. None of us expected our mods to blow up as much as this and we are super grateful for every single download! As the description says, yes, this is our last JWE1 mod for now. We plan on moving over to JWE2 as soon as modding becomes possible. Dont worry though, as we still have some content planned for this game! Each of our other mods will be getting some updates to clean them up as we want to leave this game with the best quality we can. This includes new icons, stats, skins and some paleo edits for a variety of our mods. We hope you continue to enjoy all of our creations as long as this game lives on, but in any case, this is a final goodbye to this game as we brace for the release of JWE2! <3

LAS Afrovenator abakensis | Paleo Collection

Afrovenator was a genus of megalosaurid that roamed Africa in the early Cretaceous.
Afrovenator is known from a single mostly complete skeleton, making it easier to reconstruct. Most of the skull, legs and some vertebra were preserved.
Afrovenator had a much longer more straight form compared to other species of theropod, similar to Torvosaurus. It had relatively long claws and a narrow skull, making it a slender hunter.
Our depiction of Afrovenator is of a pack hunting and savannah dwelling predator. Preferring to live in larger groups, they are very social compared to other carnivores in the game.
The name Afrovenator means “african hunter”, afer, "African", and venator, "hunter".
Paleo Collection Series
This smaller series of simpler paleo accurate mods will be the last we release before JWE2, and are a sendoff to the game that gave us our start. We aim to recreate these animals as accurately as we can, and with realistic features they would've likely had. These aren't in the usual LAS style, but we had just as much fun working on them.
