About this mod

Adds the tiny herbivore with a not so tiny name to your parks as a new, seperate species. RTJP and ACSE 1.1 required.

Requirements
Permissions and credits
Micropachycephalosaurus is one of my favourite dinosaurs, so I wanted to see if I could wrassle it into the game somehow. This is my first attempt at trying to rig another model to an existing armature (at least a decently complex one) so it isn't perfect, however I think the result is quite decent, so I think it's safe to release!

These little guys enjoy a mix of forest, wetland and grassland and do well with other herbivores in their environment. They won't cause smaller herbivores to go into a panic, either. While you can house them with any herbivore and medium to large carnivore, smaller carnivores such as Troodon or Deinonychus won't hesitate to hunt them down. They will also square off against dinosaurs the size of Compsognathus if you house them together.

You will need ACSE 1.1 to use this dinosaur in campaign or challenge mode. You'll unlock Micropachy in campaign on Mantaceros by going down the entertainment division path and in challenge mode it's automatically unlocked at the beginning of a run. You can find the research under modding slots Eta in the medical treatment tab. You will also require the Return to Jurassic Park DLC regardless.

Installation
To install simply drag and drop the Micropachyse folder into your ovldata folder. To uninstall, delete said folder. If you intend to uninstall this mod mid-save, make sure there are no Micropachy's in any of your hatcheries, otherwise the game will crash on load.

Known Issues
  • The legs can get a little wonky at times, something I'd like to try to smooth out eventually. It also doesn't blink, mostly because of how I ended up positioning and rigging the model. Being so small this usually isn't too noticeable.
  • The straps from the ACU skycrane are invisible. This is purely a visual bug and seems to have no effect on gameplay.
  • The name overflows onto the incubation bar in the hatchery.
  • Standard Brachiosaurus icon consistent for most new species.

Credits
  • EchoGreen for inspiration and answering my questions, I really do appreciate it.
