In 1933 Carl Denham shocked the world when he unveiled King Kong to a stunned crowd at the Alhambra Theatre. The twenty-five-foot-tall delivered the scientific community a one-two punch that sent it reeling with the impact of this incredible discovery and subsequent tragic loss. But Kong was just the beginning. An entire island bursting with prehistoric wonders existed. 15 years after its discovery, Skull Island sunk back into the ocean. Now, 87 years after its discovery, InGen set its goal to bring Skull Island's vivid and unique fauna back to life. Slowly unveiling more of the monstrous creatures to inhabit this hellish piece of land, Dr. Wu is on a mission. Are you gonna step aside, or help?

VASTATOSAURUS REX
The biggest predator on Skull Island was the Vastatosaurus rex. Like their prehistoric Tyrannosaur relations, the Skull Island V. rexes had little competition for their spot as top predators. In spite of their 40 to 50 feet long and heavy bodies, they could turn on a surprising burst of speed for short periods, clocking up to 25 mph for limited stretches in pursuit of prey.

DIABLOSAURUS
Diablosaurus resembled ceratopsian dinosaurs like Ferrucutus, but instead of being part, or even close relatives, of Skull Island’s several ceratopsian species, Diablosaurus represent an unconventional offshoot of the sauropod lineage. With truncated necks and stubby tails, they had evolved new armor plating and a stocky physique instead of the elongated necks and tails that were the line’s most famous features.

FERRUCUTUS
Among the most impressive herbivores on Skull Island were the mighty Ferrucutuses. Heavily built grazers with massive shoulders and enormous frills of bone and spine, these powerful animals were dangerous prey for the island's carnivores.

LIGOCRISTUS
Sporting bony crests with long tailing fins of skin, Ligocristuses were able to communicate mood and breeding status visually. In a mechanism similar to that of a chameleon, colored cells on Ligocristus' crest could flash to create different hues on the skin as a result of hormonal signals.

ADLAPSUSAURUS
Adlapsusaurus was specialized in raiding nests, even those of a V. rex. Quick reflexes and keen hearing were the trademarks of the egg thief. It would make stealthy sorties to retrieve its prize before retreating to a hidden den to feast.

- This mod requires ACSE, as well as the Secrets of Dr. Wu, Claire's Sanctuary, Carnivore Dinosaur Pack, and Cretaceous Dinosaur Pack. It won't work without 'em. ALSO, the fossils in research are in the PALEOBOTANY panel, not the GLOBAL OPERATIONS one.
To install ACSE 1.1, download it from this link, and place the ACSE folder in your ovldata folder, alongside Content0, and the other DLCs and new species, and that's it. Without ASCE, you won't be able to play the campaign or challenge mode as long as this mod is installed. Sandbox works just fine without it.
