About this image

The vast majority of my time spent in JWE, and inevitably JWE 2. Is going into sandbox, not building a single fence, guest facility, path etc. The only manmade structures i build are hatcheries, the paths that connect them to the main gate, which in of itself is unfortunately permanent and herbivore and occasionally piscivore feeders.

And doing my damndest to try and recreate ancient ecosystems. Going as far as to schedule breeding seasons before Kaiodenic's amazing breeding mod came out, scheduling droughts and which migratory species gets  spawned based on what season it is despite no clear indication of seasonal changes in JWE.

I take what i do more seriously than the way the game is intendid to be played. And that probably will never change, even in other zoo games like Prehistoric Kingdom.

For the feeders, I usually use the invisible feeders and hid them under carcasses and ferns and other ground plants. I also place the tall feeders inside of trees.
Immersion is becoming incredibly easy with these new mods

if you use jpeo the arrival helipad becomes a hatchery, so you won't have to place the hatcheries

You can also put your feeders into water, remove the water and then raise the ground a little bit, so the feeder looks more natural.
