About this image

It's takes a lot into account, so that you don't suffer from overpopulation but still see things happen. Genetics plays a key role - more on this later!  Though I cover a bit of it in the video description. For now, for those who clicked through onto the image, have this little demonstration.

Woops, responded to the wrong message. To answer your question - kind of. There is a "fun" issue there, where if you don't monitor your dryos and they start dying off really quickly, it's just a bit annoying to deal with. I have a solution, but in summary - kind of.

this is literally one of the best things you've ever made
    two questions.
one: will it eventually work for new species
two: would dinosaurs breed even if there max population and social is reached?

      • It already does, breeding is base don all dinosaurs in your park and scales off social stats
      • No. They breed at a high rate until they reach 40% of their maximum social group size. They'll then breed less and less the more there are, and stop completely around 80%.

so this means that as carnivores are hunting Herbivores the carnivores will never dominate the herbivores? i was worried that like the raptors would breed outa control and take over or summin.

Kaio, I got a pretty stupid idea

Like your breeding, but whenever two specific animals that have hybrids in the game (for example Stego and Trike), it'll work the same as the breeding but the hybrid spawns instead of a normal species (Stegoceratops)

Or having the hybrids be able to give birth to one of their components or be able to breed with any part of their genome.
