About this image

So how do you actually export the Dino models you find in the ovl? So I'm just asking for no actual reason. And if you were wondering that image is in no way related to why I am asking this question.

Let's say hypothetically I wanted to edit Majungasaurus model, How could I access the model and import it into blender?

I know that the image was unrelated, but arizonasaurus was bipedal not quadrupedal

Okay quick update before anyone else posts instructions. for some reason I cant extract the mdl 2 files, aswell as the Texturstream files and all of the mani files. Oh and just checked I can't extract the datastreams files too.

edit: Okay sorry I'm just stupid I thought Unpacking was the same thing as extracting.

You open the OVL tool thingy
edit -> Unpack it into a folder
(install the Blender cobra tools extension)
go into blender, and file -> Import -> Cobra model

To access the model, open ovl tool
    Open the majunga model
unpack the stuff into a folder
Install the cobra tools zip for the blender plugin.
Click import mdl2, and import majungasaurus.mdl2

    to export, click, export, mdl2
    and then choose the majunga.mdl2
there will be an export folder in the place you unpack the files
your edited files are in that folder

    :)

Thx for the help!  just realized that Unpacking is a different thing than extracting.
