Improved visual option for your AK's.
Tired of looting only AK-47's? Trying to get a nice AK-74 but RNGesus won't let you? Now you can enjoy a modernized AK with the cost of only 2 steel pipes.

Mostly a visual mod
AK-103 is the modernized version of the AKM (which is the modernized version of AK-47). It uses the same body as the AK-74M but uses the 7.62x39mm as AK-47 does. What you get from this mod is exactly that, an AK-74 with a AK-47 mag named AK-103.
Standard and light stock is from AK-74, heavy stock is from RPK-74, I also added two new stocks that have same stats as light and heavy stock that are from Commando and M16A2.
AK-103:
Stats remain same as the AK-47 with the addition of heavy stock, uv dot, and quick prism scope attachments.
In other words it's not something that will give you a major boost and break your game balance, your AK-103s will still be average damage but high AP cost assault rifles that you will want to replace later, but until then you at least get something visually better.
AK-103_Lite:
Stats and attachments remain same as the AK-47. For the absolute purists.
Notes:
After you combine and get AK-103 you retain your weapon condition, but you lose every attachment that was on the donor AK-47.
Unlike AK-47 you can't attach a vertical grip and a bipod at the same time, because the AK-74 3d model has only one attach point for front attachments.
Should not conflict with any other weapon mod, as long as they don't have the same combine recipe as this one. This mod doesn't change any original asset.
Installation and How to get it:
- Create a folder named "Mods" in C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\Jagged Alliance 3\
- Extract the zip contents into that folder
- Restart the game
- Enable the mod in the mod manager menu in the game
- Load your game, have at least 2 steel pipes and an AK-47 in your inventory, combine
- Enjoy
