UI Overhaul of Jade Empire


With this mod you can get :
  • New looks and feel of GUI
  • More consistent UI
  • Optimized for wide screen




New Experiment (Feb 4th 2022) :
  • Work around for minigames, so it will not show edges of the ocean models anymore at widescreen. Please check it on the Miscellanous file section.


How to install :
  • If you want not only UI overhaul, but also new gameplay experience, go to Dunde's Ultimate Mods at Jade Empire Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com) instead. The mods include this mods, except the fullscreen movies.
  • Backup your override folder.
  • Extract the main zip file ito the override folder of Jade Empire. Replace any file.
  • Delete any TXB files that have the same name of any new .TGA files. The game will use .TXB instead of .TGA so if you don't delete them, the new TGA files  won't be loaded. To simplify this process, you can use a batch file I uploaded at Auto remove and backup TXB files at Jade Empire Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com)
  • An optional gem set is provided at Optional Files Section
  • For more flowing experience gameplay, like on the video above, you can alter the movie files of the game with ones at Miscellaneous files Section.
