You can clearly recognize when someone is shooting at you at point blank or further away.
Distant:
Enemy gunfire sounds much quieter (In vanilla the difference is not very significant)
At very close range (few meters):
Gunfire reaches maximum (vanilla) value. Similar volume just like if you was firing that weapon yourself.
This mod does not add or change the sound files, just how the game treats them at different distances between you and mimics.
