I wanted a fresh start save file with only gold added, turns out it's harder to find than I thought for the latest version of the game (2.1.3), so I went out on a trek to find out how to just do it myself. Anywho, I did it and added 9,999 Hydroneer Coins to the game. They can be found on the Cart in the starter plot they give you when you start a new game. I haven't dug nor built anything yet so it's a straight up Fresh Start save game.
There are two different versions of the save file. One of them only contains 9,999 Hydroneer coins. The other contains 999,999 Hydroneer coins as well as 999,999 Farmer Tokens. Check the file descriptions on the download file page to make sure you download the one you want.
INSTALLATION
To install, open the save folder located here:
C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Mining\Saved\SaveGames\
Extract the Zip file of your choice so that you have a new folder in the "SaveGames" folder, in that folder you should only have the two save files "Player.sav" and "Level.sav". If you have another folder, you've extracted it incorrectly, so you should fix that before loading the game.
Load up the game, select "Continue" and choose the save with that name.
