What is this?
This mod restores the multiplayer functionally via OpenSpy, a community replacement for gamespy. A while ago I talked to the main dev and after some troubleshooting they managed to add support for Hunted to their servers, public matchmaking works, friend invites / private matches don't.
Installation:
1. Download this mod and unzip it.
2. Move the P4DFTRE.DLL file in to your Hunted -> BINARIES -> WIN32 folder. (steamapps\common\Hunted\BINARIES\WIN32)
3. Launch the game and go to Adventure -> Online and create an account. Openspy recommends to use a simple throwaway password due to server security.
4. That's it, login to your account and play the game!
Note: If UPnP doesn't work the hosting player must open port 7777 in their router. You might want to create a backup of your existing P4DFTRE.DLL file.
Uninstall:
Delete P4DFTRE.DLL and restore your backup or let steam verify the game.
Voicechat:
This game has ingame voicechat enabled by default.
1. To disable your microphone go to C:\Users\%username%\Documents\My Games\Hunted\DFGame\Config
2. Open DFEngine.ini and change bHasVoiceEnabled=true to false then save it.
