try that HZD gameplay tweaks and cheats its called it think.
on nexus, type hzd under this game.
it changes weather and i think disable it to or freeze it to where you want.

i always figured the rain was the cause of the climatic changes caused in the game.
this looks better than what they did.

Works with DLSS 3.1 swapped (using DLSS Swapper).
However due to the nature of DLSS, best result is achieved when using a 1.00 (DLAA) factor using DLSS Tweaker.

The 40% (medium) is the best looking to me as higher makes some rain pretty much invisible.

Thanks a lot to you modder :) !

Can someone please confirm if this mod has been updated to work with DLSS? Thanks

Would really be nice if there were a video somewhere showing how each option looks.

There is no way for me to make a version of this mod that works with DLSS until I get a video card that is capable of using DLSS. The chip shortage is making it impossible to buy a new video card right now and it is probably going to be a long time before that situation starts to get any better. I will try to make a DLSS-friendly version of the mod when I am able to get a new video card though.

unfortunately, the rain is nearly invisible with DLSS.

I do have a DLSS-capable GPU now, so I will try to look into this at some point.

Thank you for the gem of a little mod. Playing the game without this was irritating just to have the rain up in your face, distracting you from seeing beyond up in the distent.  I selected the "D - Natural Rain" only because I didn't want to much of a change. The only change I had to select was "High Density", With the transparent effect I was required to increase the amount of rain. This caused a Natural balence within the enviroment. So to everyone I do recommend  "D - Medium Rain 40% (High Density)".  Again Thank You for taking the time and effort in providing us with this natural beauty. Endorsed.

After installing, I've played for quite a while now and it hasn't rained at all.  Is it possible I did something wrong and removed rain from the game altogether?

ETA: Disregard, it finally rained.  Looks great! (What a relief. Unlike a lot of people in this thread, I actually wish it would rain MORE in this game!)

no rain? and that's a problem? :) Sorry aside from the rain looking extremely bad it's blinding, attempt the 1st bandit camp in stealth whilst raining AND at night, you can't see anything.

You must be half-blinded or with some serious issue in your eyes
