Please tell me which version is more different from the original, that is, less bright - A or D?

Awesome mod, but I stumbled during the installation process. I downloaded version B. Unpacked it on my desktop and it looks as its supposed to, with the textures in the "textures" folder. Then I went ahead and downloaded the DecimaExplorer-GUI-Repack.exe from the link that you posted. I copied that and the oo2core_3_win64.dll file in a folder separate from the game's install folder, but when I open the exe and browse for the textures, the program does not see them. Did I do something wrong?

You shouldn't be searching for the texture files, you should be opening a folder. The folder you want to open is the "Natural Rain" folder, which has the "shaders" folder directly inside of it. Make sure you open the "Natural Rain" folder though, not the "shaders" folder.

Yup, it's working now. Didn't read the very clear instructions and instead of simply clicking on the folder and clicking "Select Folder", I was going all the way through into the textures folder. I feel stupid. My bad! :D

If I may make a suggestion it would be nice to see images of how each option looks like for now I chose B because I don't know how A, C, or D looks like.

      Thanks for the suggestion.

It's hard to give an idea of how moving rain will look in the game with a still image. Showing a screenshot of a single option doesn't even give you an accurate idea of how that option will look in-game. Showing screenshots of the other options wouldn't help people determine which option is best for them because it could look very different for them in-game. Even uploading animated images or videos wouldn't help much because the look of the rain can change a lot depending on if you're using HDR (plus the quality of you display's HDR and your HDR settings) and your graphics/brightness settings, among other things. The lighting in this game also changes pretty wildly which can affect the look of the rain as well.

It's really something you just have to install and try out yourself. Option B is probably the best option for people to start with. If the rain looks too bright or is hard to see in certain situations then you have to switch to a different option.

The comparison screenshots I posted are just to show the general difference between the modded rain and the vanilla rain.

Simple yet essential mod, the rain in this game looks like it is made for Minecraft, not a AAA 60$ game. This mod fixes that beautifully. Kudos to you, mod author.
