Since this doesn't seem to be maintained and I couldn't get it working... For anyone trying to change the seasons, give Dekita's Change Season UI a go. It works with Apparate Modloader and season changes are built into the UI, plus it's updated!
I even downloaded Vortex to install it and the UE4SS thing, changed the parameter of the manual switch in the variables.conf file, but still - nothing happens when I press the default keys combo.
Hmm, I can't get this mod to work anymore. Don't know if the June update broke it or if there's a mod conflict Edit: I managed to change the date with the variables.conf file, it looks like it's just the CTRL hotkey that isn't working on my end
It definitely cause problems, lot of crashes for me, when you should have snow and christmas decorations, with this mod you will have halloween decorations and no snow, then suddenly it's snowing, then entering Ror and exiting reset back everything to autumn, probably not best to use if you are planning a new game
Thanks so much for the reply. I still haven't downloaded the mod. I'm glad I waited for an answer, as I would be...very irritated if my 50% game was messed up! : [ Still wish there was another way to make the in-game day longer.
Unfortunately, I think the UE4SS is what causes the problems for both this mod and Tempus Imperium. I'd looked into that mod, as well, but held off. Seeing as they both require it. It seems a bit too technical for me, even if it didn't cause me any problems! x D
Do you use Tempus with a finished save, or a save you're playing through? Because I've seen some concerns that the UE4SS can 'cause problems for unfinished saves. I may be wrong, though. Thanks for the advice!
well.. this actually broke my save game... now everytime game starts with i believe winter season with snow everywhere. irresepective of seasons. even after changing it manually. the only way to change it is goto any location which is inside castle, forward a day or two and then go outside. only then you see different season. sometimes fast travel also changing it back to winter. its always snowy. Also there are many more crashes, not sure becuase of this mod or other. if outside during the mission, and the game crashes, it always starts with snowy fields and you can not goto hogwarts castle mid mission and you are stuck with it. deleting the mod folder is also not solving this issue. be careful before using the mod. does any one know how to even reset it ? please post here the solution. thanks
it would be better if this one is just a pure season manager that change the season based on month alone without date and clock logic so we can minimalize the crash.
agreed. Maybe seperating both into individual mods or something like that, so the guys that WANT to have it in can have it but otherwise the amount of crashes really ruins the immersion this mod tried to create...
I can't get the mod to work. I have followed the instructions exactly and set the manual date setting to true in the variable config. I basically only want the mod to be able to change seasons every so often so all I am concerned about is the Ctrl+ 1-0 feature. But in game, nothing happens. I even unbound Ctrl in game just in case. Is there anything else in addition to the description that I should be doing? I followed the UE4SS instructions, and it seems to work because a screen pops up in addition to the game when loading up. For the mod, I created a mod folder here:
in that folder is are the two UE4SS files and another folder called mods. In the mods folder i have a scripts folder and enabled file. In the scripts folder is main.lua and variables.conf. Would greatly appreciate any assistance or suggestions. I have sort of halted myself from advancing the story because I know it will change into winter, and I'd like to be able to change back once in a while.
The seasons have gone by far too fast and I don't look forward to beginning winter as spring starts IRL. I don't look forward to winter in game in general! :' )
Were you able to get the mod to work? I'm also wondering if it affects the game differently when you're playing through quests, as opposed to a finished game.

Don't waste your time on this.
Is there a way to keep a Spring-Season through the entire game (without using this mod). Is there a ways in settings this can be achived?
Thank you!

From the mods description:
Personally i use clockRate = 0.2. The configuration is a bit unintuitive, but you can do the math yourself to calculate your prefered timing.

We have the possibility to change to whatever season we like, but is it possible to revert back to the original season of the game?
