Hello, I did as you explained, but when I start the game, the file changes to put back the stor_09_twitch (sorry if i made mistakes, i don't speak english)
It's easier to wait for them to give the item again on twitch. There is no tutorial teaching what must be done for the mod to work. One tells you to log in to twitch, another tells you to edit a line inside the save, another tells you to download and place files in the save folder. A confusion.
Hey guys does this still works? everytime i try to edit the save file with HxD, it automaticaly creates a ''bak'' file (im assuming bakup). Then i delete that file and the save stays with 08 but nothing happens ingame i got to the point of editing the 00-00, 00-14, 00-01 and nothing happens can someone dirtect message me to help please
Yeah I did it last night then made a new character to test it. It's 100% working on both my characters. YOU DO NEED A TWITCH DROP ALREADY ON YOUR ACCOUNT
Open up SaveGameList.sav in your editor of choice, I used HxD.
Ctrl+F to find "twitch" it'll be something like ".....Store_09_Twitch"
What ever your numbers are (I have all 4 twitch drops so I had 09, 10, 11, 12) change one of them to 08.
Save the file load up Hogwarts. Use an Auto-Save from earlier than your current game save.
Thanks so much for that! And for anyone else wondering, changing the spectacles into the cloak got me the cloak and then the spectacles popped back up anyway, so it seems you don't even lose anything with this method
Also, just hitting "Continue" worked just fine for me, didn't have to load an older autosave
oddly enough the save was in slot 2 and didn't overwrite my personal save in slot 1. What's even more bizarre is that in the loading screen, it's my save character data, (appearance and last location) but the name is Shawn Lecrone haha. Not sure how to get that change but not complaining since in the game, it's my name.
in the indows search bar type "run" open that and type "appdata" to search for that folder, then you'll follow the path AppData\Local\Hogwarts Legacy\Saved\SaveGames\yournumberhere
Added files to the correct location but save file does not show up. Do not download till this is confirmed to be working. Will edit comment accordingly. 2/10/2023

Soo.... which one to change?
change the "09" to "08"
save and load an earlier autosave (mine manual save didn't work)
