Introduction
It can sometimes be difficult for mod creators to figure out why some users are having problems with their mod(s). In those circumstances it would often be helpful to know what's in the user's Paks and ~mods folders. This batch script lists the contents of the user's Paks folder (and all sub-folders, including ~mods) to help mod creators figure out what's going on.
Mod Creators: Just tell the user who's having a problem to install and run this script and then POST or DM the output to you.
Mod Users: Install and use the script as described below.
Installation and Usage
- Download the mod.
- Extract the ListPaks.bat file.
- Double-click the ListPaks.bat file in Windows Explorer to run it.
- From v1.1 onwards: press CTRL-a then CTRL-c to copy the output.
- Send the output to the mod creator, along with a description of the problem you're having.
Just delete ListPaks.bat.
Known Issues
The following are known issues. If you encounter any others let me know in the POSTS section.
- If your Hogwarts Legacy installation isn't in the usual place the mod will search for it, but this can take a while. Be patient!
- The script will only search your C: and D: drives. It won't search other drives. If your game is installed on a different drive then install ListPaks into your ~mods folder. The script will then find your Paks folder immediately regardless of which drive it's on.
