Introduction
Modder leoisalion created closet mods for Seb, Ominis and Natty. Unfortunately leo was so traumatised by the enormity of that task that they immediately quit modding Hogwarts Legacy forever and haven't been seen since. That's a shame for leo and for us. I got to know leo a bit through the modding discord and they were very nice. (It was leo who persuaded me to create the Stand Up Straight mod.) Anyway I thought I'd have a go at producing a closet mod for Garreth using the outfits that leo selected for Seb's closet. I automated as much of the process as I could, and assumed that what remained would only take me a few hours...
How wrong I was! It took my 15 hours of solid mouse-clicking to get the job done. I can see why leoisalion threw in the towel! What a nightmare! 😭
Why is it a Beta Version?
I have marked this as version 0.5beta because when I created it my priority was to get it finished before I lost the will to live. I spent long hours staring at the screen doing the same thing over and over and over. Click-Copy-Paste-Click-Copy-Paste-Click-Copy-Paste-Save-Cook-Rename etc etc... So I can't rule-out the possibility that I made a few mistakes. If any of the outfits have strange colours please let me know and I will fix them. I used a quick-and-dirty method to change Seb's green-ish clothes to red-ish for Garreth - I just swapped the red and green values in the RGB vector-overrides. This works quite well but I may have missed a few. I also couldn't tell if the shoes needed any colour changes since those aren't shown in the game's outfit pics, so if you see any green shoes let me know.
I've checked a random selection of outfits in the game and they all looked fine, so fingers crossed!
Usage
For those who don't know, closet mods work like this:
Garreth should now be wearing that outfit. If you want to change to another:
No, there is sadly no way to do this without restarting the game. Don't blame me! Blame the people who designed Unreal Engine.
Note that the images are taken straight from Seb's closet so they're in Slytherin colours, but Garreth will of course wear Gryffindor colours.
Installation

How to Un-Install
Just delete the three files you most recently put in ~mods.
Conflicts
This mod uses pakchunk 2402. You can check if that conflicts with any of your existing mods by running my PakChunk Checker batch script after you've installed this mod. If it does conflict, you can fix it using the Chunk ID Conflict Manager.

- Download and unzip "the mod". (It's actually lots of mods).
- Browse through the folders looking at the png images for an outfit that you like.
- Copy the .pak, .ucas and .utoc files for the one you chose to your ~mods folder.
- Start the game.
Garreth should now be wearing that outfit. If you want to change to another:
- Close down the game.
- Delete the three files you put in ~mods earlier.
- Select another outfit.
- Copy the .pak, .ucas and .utoc files for that outfit to your ~mods folder.
- Restart the game.

- The "G" logo is missing from Garreth's shirt on the "Worn Quidditch Uniform". (I don't know why.)
