Hi, so i am getting qUINT_solaris.fx failed to compile in the effects window and is in red. Like you said i have installed both files where the game exe is but to be save i also installed qUINT_solaris.fx file in shaders folder and in qUINT folder as well as all the qUINT files go in there. How do i make the reshade compile qUINT_solaris.fx effect? I am on the latest reshade 5.7.0. Thanks.
Hi, you need to place the "qUINT_solaris.fx" file into "reshade-shaders/Shaders" folder. Try delete it from the other places. You only need the ".ini" file in the same directory as your game ".exe". Sorry I didn't mention it in the description, now its fixed.
Edit and update: fixed the folders issue in the Files section.
I've done exactly this but qUINT_solaris.fx still fails to compile. I've done a fresh install of Reshade but still happens. Any help would be appreciated.
Still getting the same msg and Solaris in red, when I hover the mouse over it says "Couldn't open included file 'qUINT/Global.fxh' and 'qUINT/Depth.fxh'. I re-downloaded all the effects as well. I also have already done the global edit Preprocessor definitions part.
i realize this is a year old but the 2 files that are mentioned in the error are missing in the QUINT folder in your shader folders, you need to go find them and place them there (i googled it and found them on github) then it will compile correctly
My monitor is 2560x1080 and i play with DLSS (2070 super)Do you think i ll have problems as you said at description?
I am asked because of this
"Bear in mind that this preset is optimized for this resolution and graphic settings, so if you are playing on lower resolution like 1080p, you can experience some issues, like oversharpening or too much blur or white lines, which is how global illumination looks on low resolution."
Thank you for your reshade. I haven't downloaded yet because i wanna ask you. My monitor is 2560x1080 and i play with DLSS (2070 super) Do you think i ll have problems as you said at description?
I think you will be fine, I also play in ultrawide with DLSS and no problem. Only dlss3 (frame gen) causes some issues, but thats only for 40xx series cards.

I am new to pc gaming and the modding community. I installed the reshade app and added the chr luminoso 2.0 reshade option to it. I am stuck at the "Edit global preprocessor definitions" where you will likely see numbers 1000, 0, 0, 0" instruction. I was wondering how to get to this setting in the reshade app to change the numbers to the proper ones? Also even with a rtx 4090 do you keep all the ray tracing settings on max? I am at the beginning of the game but when I turn on ray tracing to the max I noticed a lot of unnatural shiny glares (for example walking in the hogwarts castle). And I only get 49fps. I use my lg g2 tv as a gaming monitor (120hz). With a rtx 4090 and using a tv as a display, would you change any of your display settings in the description to best tailor my gaming experience with the reshade (for example vsynch, etc)?
Hi! Just click on the looong "Edit global preprocessor definitions" button and this small window will appear down below. Try to change the "0" to "1" until it looks good. I had to change the "RESHADE_DEPTH_INPUT_IS_REVERSED" line to "1" for the depth buffer to work.
As for the graphic settings I turned off ray tracing and dlss3 when using this reshade preset because they were buggy and for me this looks better than the in-game ray tracing.
