The game crashes every time I open it after adding this mod. I'm almost positive that I followed all of the instructions correctly so I'm not sure what's happening.
Did you happen to overwrite chunk0patch2.rpkg? At the time I made this mod, the patches only went to patch 1. So... if this is the case, you will need to verify your game files to redownload the original chunk0patch2.rpkg. And when installing this mod you need to rename it chunk0patch3.rpkg. (As step 2 states in the install instructions, "Rename .rpkg to the next sequential patch number".)
If you would like to replace a different suit: Using RPKG Tool, extract my .rpkg and rename the .TEMP and .TEMP.meta to that of the requiem suit. Then pack it back up.
Rename Signature Suit: 00FF8C6314EA882E.TEMP and 00FF8C6314EA882E.TEMP.meta to Requiem Suit: 00BFB0215A4CFB3B.TEMP and 00BFB0215A4CFB3B.TEMP.meta Pack back up.
Someone tried a while ago, it had trouble bringing across the hair and I think it applied Sean's face to 47's head shape and was a bit off, never heard them making any progress since then
If only it were that easy... First and foremost there is currently no way to import 3d models into HITMAN 3. There is a whole bunch of factors that go against effectively swapping out 47's head. Here are just a few. 1. 47's head isn't only 1 model. In HITMAN 3 even though his head is visually consistent with everything he wears, his head is actually sometimes a duplicate of the "base" model and rigged to work with that particular outfit. (This is most evident between HITMAN 1 and HITMAN 2) Sean Bean and most other characters are only rigged to one particular skeleton, so putting their mesh on an improper skeleton would result in extreme geometry distortion. Forgot to mention, even if the head IS rigged with the same body skeleton, the face bones don't line up with 47's face. 2. 47 has no hair, so there is no model to swap out with hair. Currently it is unknown if there is a way ADD .PRIMS (All the individual 3d models that make up a whole outfit) or materials, or textures to an existing Outfit. 3. I've already done the tests, and even if you DO swap out 47's head with a model that HAS hair it inherits 47's hair color (Brown and sometimes white) and there's is no way to change its color. Where and how to change that value is unknown at this time. This also goes for the skin color, eye color, and even the clothes color.
BTW, that was ME who did those tests on Sean Bean last year. As you can see, even though it has now become possible to patch essential files from later levels to the base game or swap out one of those parts (with minor hex editing), there isn't much progress on modification to the structure of the outfits themselves.
Yes, it is possible to swap out 47 with females as well. I am uncertain about what files are used for what animations an outfit uses. I'll look into it. I still have no idea what determines clothing sounds and footsteps.
I plan to make a tutorial sooner or later. Since the process isn't 100% straightforward, it will take some time to get all the info in order. There is quite a bit of Command Prompt commands, file searching, file deleting, renaming, and moving, as well as light HEX editing. It also involves manually creating and editing a .txt file with a list of addresses. My hopes are that I can come up with an assortment of .bat scripts that can just automate the process.
Is there a particular female character (that's in the game) that you had in mind? Also note, the outfits inherit the same exact footsteps as the base outfit, so there will be no "clacking" of high heals. Plus, she's gonna walk, stand, and move exactly like 47. Oh yeah, and talk too.
Yup. I just recently found out about this and added a warning to the initial page. I am looking into it, but it's not looking good. I started at square 1 and it still resulted in a crash. This is obviously not my intention.
Is it possible if you use just a head skeleton and rig that head model with just head skeleton. And not with full body like a outfit. But instead just a head... I think that can work

Alternatively, you can install the .rpkg through Simple Mod Framework.

I like it, nice job
And by extention of that, is it also possible to replace 47's walk/run animations with female ones?
