Hey, I got this real good outfit idea for the game. It's the archaeologist suit from Dead Space 3. I honestly think it would fit the whole atmosphere because of the game being set in a cave and the archaeologist suit being used for cave exploration. But this is all an idea for the game and I honestly think that would honestly fit the whole atmosphere.
Weird have you tried verifying/reinstalling the game? i heard that error is quite common after updating and trying to load missions instead of starting them over,it works fine on my end tho

Extract the "graphics" folder and copy paste/drag it in your Hidden Deep main folder replacing the original files
Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Hidden Deep
You can also go to your steam library,right click the game,manage,browse local files
