This is a custom map I've made out of the built in warmongers map and I've edited it to be a two player hot seat cooperative play map with red and blue on the same team and the human players and the other four players all computers
If you ever wanted to get your girlfriend into gaming this is the game and this is an easier map to start w

NOTE: THERE IS A README FILE IN THE ZIP FOLDER WITH THE MAP FILES THAT EXPLAINS HOW TO USE THE OTHER MAP THAT IS NOT WARMONGERS.
to use this custom map just copy the map file (Warmongers - allies.h3m) to the maps folder in the directory you installed the game to. something like C:\program_files\ect
or if installed with GOG download, the default location is directly on the c drive. something like: c:\GOG\(navigate to maps folder)
CUSTOM COOPERATVE MULTIPLAYER MAP = WARMONGERS (ALLIES) HOMM3COMPLETE
RED = PLAYER 1 (YOUR GIRLFRIEND) GIVEN ARTIFACTS AND SOME UNITS TO MAKE THINGS FAIR FOR THE NEW PLAYER. SHE CAN PICK ANY HERO OR ANY
STARTING BONUS TOO IT WONT MATTER.
BLUE = PLAYER 1 (YOU) *NO REAL BUFFS
TAN = PLAYER 3 (YOU CAN USE THIS FOR A 3RDPLAYER ON THIS MAP IF YOU WANT BUT IF YOU DON’T EDIT THE MAP TO CHANGE TEAMS
THEN TAN WILL BE ON THE ENEMY TEAM AND YOU WILL BE FIGHTING AGAINST EACH OTHER.
To change TAN back to your team.
1. Open the heroes map editor in the same file that you installed heroes to.
2. Then go to the folder icon at the top left or hit file and open then select WARMONGERS – COPY (OR ALLIES) and open the map
3. Once the map is open hit CTRL + Enter on your keyboard
4. In the window that opens go to the player specs tab
5. In the drop down box select TAN and make sure the Human check box is checked then move to the TEAMS tab
6. Move the dot next to tan under the dots for the red and blue team so that there are 2 teams 1 with blue,red, and tan… then the
other team with green orange and purple.
7. Then save it and your done.. if you want to add artifacts or creatures to TAN to help them out you can do that too just do that
before you save and close.
