I didn't use any of their assets, but it's fair to mention that another mod called ""Scorcher UnTubed" by KR1SZ03" did (roughly, as I haven't cross-referenced the meshes) the same thing as my thin version.

I'm not actually sure if they're supposed to be capacitors, but I've never liked how bulky they made the Scorcher look. Removing them makes the gun look a lot nicer, and helps first-person visibility a lot.
Changes the Normal Map and ID mask, meaning that while LUT edits will work, mods that change the decals will likely need compatibility patches if they're properly made. If they're not properly made and replace the default decal sheet entries, then it'll work fine. Also--as per usual--patterns won't work on the Scorcher with this installed.
