SHOWDOWN OVER THE BERING STRAIT!
Hi!
This is my first proper music mod that actually changes the combat tracks. I made this mod for my boyfriend who's an Ace Combat and Project Wingman fan!
(mod image made by my boyfriend as well)
Hope you all enjoy!
"Hey Monarch, how about we botch the mission? I wouldn't mind staying a few more days out here."
- Ship Ambience: Contract Details
- Drop Zone + Loadout: Active Contract
- Descent: Midnight Light
- Bug Ambience: Pyroclastic
- Bug Combat: Daedalus (Combat), Consequence of Power (Plays occasionally if a Bile Titan is nearby)
- Bot Ambience: Bankrupt Sea
- Bot Combat: Calamity (Tense), Presidia (Combat)
- Illuminate Ambience: Wolf In The Dark
- Illuminate Combat: Danger Bound (Tense), Professional Execution (Combat)
- Flag Raise: Peacekeeper I
- Extraction: Showdown
Tense tracks only play when you're near enemies but not actively engaging in combat with them. As far as I know, I've only had Calamity play once when I was fighting bots. I can't really do anything about it, it's just how the game works, unfortunately...
Also, there might be some issues with the illuminate theme, as its the only theme I haven't comprehensively tested (I hate fleshmobs...), so sorry if there are any issues.
Consequence of Power might not work, but let me know if you're able to hear it in game.
Known Issues:
- Extraction theme may keep constantly looping if you take too long to extract. The intended effect is that the theme would loop once and then switch to the vanilla extraction theme for a few seconds before going silent. I'm unfortunately unable to fix this issue (at least I can't fix it anytime soon), since I wasn't really able to reproduce it. Sorry :(
- Music might be silenced after dying. Doesn't seem to be a fix for this, but the music will come back if you die again.
