Hello all, first time making a mod. I want to first thank FaithfulStorm80 for his video tutorial for helping with making this. I also followed the provided document in that video's description.
Manually downloading adding it to the Mod Manager, patching and deploying, should make it work. I do not know if Nexus Mod Manager works for Helldivers.
The basic file replaces Mission Control dialog that mentions orbital laser deployment with the following lines:
"Beam!"
"This gun of light can eradicate everything, including Gods."
"*Manic Laughing*"
"There it is!~"
The optional file replaces Mission Control's references as above, and all four voice options (the two male, and two female) for the Helldiver that references any orbitals being deployed with the following lines:
"Get burned by the fire of hell and die!"
"The creator of this weapon must be a genius!"
"I'll grant you to use this power again."
"Target confirmed."
I made the optional file because the trigger for mission control's dialogue wasn't always happening when I tested it. I do not know how those triggers work, maybe with repositioning destroyer? Pretend she's just responding to your stratagem being deployed, and I made them more generic to work with other orbitals. I might change this to the radio version depending on how it sounds with the player saying it instead, let me know what you all think.
