Description:
v1.0
It's really early in the morning and I haven't slept... but it's the weekend, and I have cooked up another visual mod for you all. This one replaces the color of the dragon's breath for the SG-225IE Incendiary Breaker and SG-451 Cookout shotguns to be one of eight different choices. Currently, there's red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, pink, and white.
Happy (late) New Years, Helldivers! Enjoy the fireworks!
Update Notes:
v1.01
- For both weapons:
- Added a light blue option.
v1.02
- For both weapons:
- Moved the light blue option to the main list.
- Tweaked some particle and material values.
- ...at the cost of file size.
v1.1
- For the Incendiary Breaker:
- The Laser Update
- Now, depending on which color option you choose, the laser will also match that color!
v1.2
- For both weapons:
- The Body Customization Update
- Now you can change the default orange color of either weapon to be one of nine other choices.
- These optional files ONLY have the body customizations! You will still need to use the main file(s) in order to have colored dragon's breath!
Known Issues:
- This isn't an "issue" necessarily, but I'm going to put this here before someone submits a bug report.
- When the dragon's breath hits an obstacle or sets an enemy on fire, the sparks that land and the fire that ignites will not match the color change.
- There is a small chance that the muzzle flash may not change color.
- For those of you who download and use both mods at the same time, I got some news for you. Depending on which weapon you choose to use first, if you swap to the other modified weapon in-between missions, you may have two different colors depending on your choices.
- Both weapons use the same particle effects for their dragon's breath, but not for parts of their muzzle flash. The first weapon you use may take priority until you reset the game.
- I see this as not that big of a problem, but it's still an "issue" that can't be fixed.
Installation:
You need to use the latest version of the Helldivers 2 Mod Manager in order to use this mod.
Please let me know of any changes that may need to be done, or suggestions that you would like to see implemented. Those that are needed/considered may take a while to complete as I am a full-time college student, so my schedule is pretty full.
