This mod was made for fun by a sleep-deprived individual (me) who has recovered enough to begin making/updating mods again.

I've come to make an announcement. Appendicitis is a... wait, I don't think I can swear here. Anyways, hello again everyone. I bring to you my first audio mod of 2025 (yippee!), more specifically one that involves the Raise the Flag mission type. This one (depending on which version you grab) includes/replaces the default Raise the Flag music with Eggman's Announcement from the "Sonic Adventure 2 (Dark Story + Final Story) | Real-Time Fandub Games" video by SnapCube.
This one was requested by a certain someone on Discord. You know who you are.
Update Notes:
v1.01
- One of the latest updates to the game changed a lot of audio files, meaning a lot of audio mods became broken. This update version should fix this issue.
- I also merged the music and audio-only versions together so that you can swap between them at any time with the HD2MM.
v1.02
- Adjusted the audio for both versions to be a bit quieter.
Known Issues:
- The audio may shift in volume when engaging enemies (or your teammates) with weapons/stratagems/etc. near the flag.
- This is most notable when using other SFX mods.
- The audio may not play when joining a mission in progress.
- This only affects flags that have already been called in. Summoning a new flag at a different objective site should resolve this issue.
Installation:
You need to use the latest version of the Helldivers 2 Mod Manager in order to use this mod.
Please let me know of any changes that may need to be done, or suggestions that you would like to see implemented. Those that are needed/considered may take a while to complete as I am a full-time college student, so my schedule is pretty full.
