This mod replaces the SMG Defender or Pummeler with the DC-17m used by Republic Commandos.
The model used in this mod was made by Shottz on Skethfab, https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/dc17m-24264bc94a0d469b9aab7ba6232f4907. They make a lot of cool Star Wars stuff so go check them out.
INSTALLATION
- Unzip, and move the files to your Helldivers 2 data folder (Steam/steamapps/common/Helldivers 2/data)
- if you have other mods installed then you will need to rename the files in order for all mods to work.
- simply take the files and rename the "patch0" on all files to "patch1" if your using 2 mods
- this can be continued for however many mods your using (ex. patch0, patch1, patch2, patch3, patch4)

Known issues:
- Model doesn't show up on gear select screen
- Weird Reflections on snow and sand planets
Sadly the reflections cant be removed from the textures at the moment.
This mod goes amazingly with the Clone Commando Armor by Degabait, and I would highly recommend it.
If for whatever reason this mod isn't working properly for you, or just isn't to your taste but you still want something similar, PLEASE go check out DC-17m Mod by ArcanePoro. In that mod there is even an Audio mod that should be compatible with this one, just all around good stuff, go give them a look!
NOTE
Ok wow, its been a while. Sorry to anyone who had been waiting for the Pummeler version of the mod to come along, I hope you were able to find ArcanePoros mod in the meantime if that was the case. I would have done this quite a bit sooner, but life happens, and when I finally found the time to work on this I had found that my textures had become corrupted. Fun. So after a bit of troubleshooting I am proud to present a very delayed Pummeler SMG replacement.
