About this mod
Full remastered game
- Textures
- Restored eax support for all hardware (modified dsoal)
- Rebuilded all menus configs for high resolution support (vanilla game not supported hd resolution and make ingame hud unusable)
- Permissions and credits
Notice: This is not esrgan or gigapixel or other similar soft
(I use my custom software + manual edit)
Remastered all visual components in game (textures, sprites...)
- Except some sky textures:
Got some trouble with more than 20 years old id tech engine (this is one of earlier version)
(May be later i'll add a few new sky textures)
+ Restored some animated textures (broken in vanilla)
Known issues:
Small font in main menu, but it not critical
- If you want, you can try remake fonts (use 'fontgen.exe' from 'Miscellaneous files' files tab)
In game weapon sub menu - also is small (i just can't find config for this menu)
INSTALL ORDER:
1) Download and unpack 'main' (7z)
2) Do same with 'language pack' (russian\english interface)
3) Updates
4) Change resolution, if you need
To change resolution:
Open and edit this strings in ..\fakk\autoexec.cfg
seta r_mode "-1" (if not work)
seta r_customheight "1080"
seta r_customwidth "1920"
