Download Medstar's HWDE Mod Manager here and follow the instructions on how to use the mod manager.
[OLD MOD MANIFEST METHOD]
How to install:
This mod uses the mod manifest method. I built this on the steam version but it should also work with the windows store version.
Step 1: Extract the mod folder to a directory you will remember.
Step 2: Navigate to the local APPDATA for Halo Wars
Example: C:\Users\PC\AppData\Local\Halo Wars
Step 3: In this folder create a .txt file named modmanifest
Step 4: In the modmanifest document place the directory to where you saved the mod directory
Example: C:\Users\PC\Desktop\Modding\Halo Wars\Forerunner_Standalone
Step 5: Boot up Halo Wars: DE and enjoy!

Known Bugs:
-Sentinel units have a hard time attacking T1 flood base
-infection forms sometimes get stuck on main flood base if too many are spawned.
-AI sometimes expands with wrong building at base sockets

-Enforcer (Pulled from Leader Overhaul Mod to learn how to import and use Custom Models, credit to TheRealSlimLady)
-Constructor (Pulled from Leader Overhaul Mod to learn how to import and use Custom Models, credit to TheRealSlimLady)
-Flood Anti-Air Tank (Kit-bash of the Halo 3 flood tank form mesh and the animations of the HW flood tank)
Resource Base Expansion, Production Base Expansion
-These buildings replace the way a forerunner player expands. Each expansion provides 2 building pads of the corresponding type, resources or unit production. Upgraded they can provide 1 more building pad upon upgrade.
Anti-Infantry, AA, and AV turrets
-The turret heads for bases are no longer automatically built. Instead the player has turret pads similar to other leaders.
New Powers:
-Forerunner player may now deploy either a garrison pad for sentinels to take cover in or a mini turret to assist key positions.
-Flood used nodes to expand and encroach.
