Purpose
This is a Reshade preset I created that tries to bring the original Halo CE color pallet and mood to Halo CE Anniversary. Though I did take some artistic liberties as well. I've always loved the coloring and mood of original Halo CE visuals but loved the Halo Anniversary textures and higher fidelity. I always found myself torn between the two styles. Halo CE, while highly saturated, is a rather darkly lit and colored game. So I wanted to bring that similar style of original Halo CE to Halo CE Anniversary. This Reshade preset is designed to work for the entire game as well.
Modify Darkness
Tweak [Curves.fx]
I've received some criticism that the settings are too dark, personally I like the darkness as CE was a very dark game as well. Also once you're in game it actually looks brighter than what the photos look like.
Performance
This preset does use some intensive processing features though I did have FPS in mind. My CPU is a Ryzen 7 2700 and GPU is a GTX 1080ti. Generally throughout the game I've been able to maintain 60 fps. If you have performance issues try to tone down CinematicDOF or just turn it off.
