Hello everyone,
I have created this document to give proper and long overdue thanks to those who helped and inspired me to make these mods.
The first people I would like to thank are the Nexus users who have provided feedback, encouragement, ideas and support throughout this process.
Users I would like to specifically thank for help with bug fixes, thoughtful feedback and positive comments are:
- SilentShad0wz
- ArmoredFrog48
- UncleLuke
To everyone else who left positive posts on my mod pages, thank you!
The next set of incredibly talented people I would like to thank are the other Halo modders who pioneered MCC modding and inspired me to make my mods
Modders I would like to specifically thank are:
- RejectedShotgun, who made the awe-inspiring Halo Reach Extinction, a remake of the childhood dream that is Halo CE Extinction
- the_vengeful_vadam, who created my favourite Halo mod of all time, Halo: Reach Evolved (which has recently received a huge update!)
- Ruby of Blue, whose work with his Rebalanced editions of Halo Reach, Halo CE and Halo 2 inspired me to learn how to use Assembly
- KableInstinct, whose creative inclusions of Banished and other factions in Halo Reach mods opened a whole new door for Halo modding
And a big thanks to everyone else making mods for Halo MCC and sharing them with the community!
Next in line for a big thanks from me are the incredible Halo Youtubers who keep the community alive with their great content.
Youtubers I would like to specifically thank are:
- HiddenXperia, the iconic go-to source for Halo lore, news and reviews. Active in the community and makes great content. Top Class Chap.
- EckhartsLadder, who makes great Halo lore videos as well as being my number one Star Wars youtuber
- Spacedock, who specialises in lore videos about spaceships from various sci-fi franchises including Halo, Star Wars and Star Trek
- The Act Man, who helped me move on after the abomination that was Halo 5 with his great Halo and Star Wars reviews.
- Late Night Gaming, who makes empassioned content about the wonder of Halo that speaks to me as a fan.
- Generalkidd, for showcasing wacky little mods and explaining unusual tidbits about all the Halo games.
- Hokiebird428 for teaching how to survive Halo 2 on Legendary
Finally, I thank Bungie, 343 industries and the Halo community itself for creating and maintaining a world of ancient mystery and childhood wonder.
