The mod does not currently work with the Halo 4 update. Since the next season will change Reach and make this generation of mods incompatible as well, I've decided to not update this mod until then. In the meantime, I will currently work on improving its difficulty for Campaign, including adding more enemies and encounters to it, maybe even give one to a Jackal Sniper if I'm crazy enough. All these changes will be released on the next season's update, so look forward to it.

Remember playing Firefight on your Xbox 360, activating infinite ammo or bottomless clip in the settings, and being disappointed because the Target Locator still had only two miserable shots? Today that bad memory is no more.

Halo Reach - Orbital Bombardment Edition introduces the Target Locator to the other nine levels of the campaign, featuring two modes: Normal (The balanced mode) and Orbital (The one made to have fun blowing things up). Both modes are offered in the regular first-person view, and third-person view for those who enjoy playing with it. It also introduces the Orbital Rocket Launcher, which shoots orbital missiles, ideal for places with a roof (Just watch for the explosion).

The mod also adds the experience many people wanted to have many years ago: Infinite ammo on every firefight map (Yes, even in Corvette and Glacier), as well as adding it in Forge World for your own experiences.

Features:
  • Target Locators and Orbital Rocket Launchers on all ten levels of the campaign.
  • Enemies are now smarter when targeted and will try to dodge the incoming air strike.
  • Allies will not be affected by the blast unless they get a direct hit (Useful to avoid your team turning on you).
  • Replaced the Sabre and the Falcon's guns to shoot Airstrike missiles on the missions where they are drivable.
  • Removed the player's smiley face emblem from all cutscenes.
  • Blocked a small amount of speedrun spots.

  • Balanced Campaign mode (Recommended for 1-2 players):
  • Reduced the cooldown between launches around 50%, may vary in some levels.
  • Nightfall in particular shoots only one rocket to reward precision over the target.
  • Variable amount of shots available per mission, as well as balanced damage for each shot. Shots are global and shared, so if you're playing with someone else, make them count.
  • Weapons scattered all over the map to ensure you do not lose yours.

  • Orbital Campaign mode (Recommended for 2-4 players):
  • Infinite ammo for the Target Locator and Orbital Rocket Launcher, the Orbital Rocket Launcher does not need to reload.
  • Near instant reload and burst of missiles for the Target Locator.
  • Missiles do not hurt neither allies nor yourself unless it's a direct hit (Does not apply to the Orbital Rocket Launcher).

  • Firefight:
  • Tweaked all Firefight maps to have infinite Target Locator shots.
  • Added six Target Locators to the respawn areas of every map, and replaced the Rocket Launcher from the Ordnance pods with an Orbital one.
  • ODSTs can use Orbital Rocket Launchers.

  • Forge:
  • Added the Target Locator and Orbital Rocket Launcher to Forge, the Target Locator has infinite shots.

Notes:
  • There cannot be two air strikes in progress at the same time, so if you are playing with someone else, communicate often to coordinate your attacks.
  • Ironically, the only level where you cannot use the target locator properly is ONI: Sword Base. This is script-related and there is no way for me to fix it, unless you start the level from Rally Point Bravo.
  • If two or more players are together, everyone must have the same mode (Normal or Orbital) and camera view (First-person or third-person), or else the game will fail when someone starts shooting.
  • Has English and Spanish support.
