Overall I love the mod I can't even begin to tell you how good it feels that every weapon is lethal again and that you can actually carry enough ammo so you don't have to constantly scrounge around or switch weapons if you don't want to. The Shotgun, Magnum, and Plasma Pistol/Rifle being particular highlights. I really like the way you have mixed up some of the encounters as well(especially the enemy Marines)

I do have a few criticisms though.
*As much as I do love having more allies, it sometimes felt a little excessive on levels like Delta Halo or Quarantine zone
*Lower Ranked Elites, particularly Minors feel a little too tanky. I still feel like Minor Elites should be dropped by one sniper headshot.
*Brutes should be able to be assassinated. Honestly it just feels like a strange choice to make them immune especially considering the stealth focus of the Arbiter levels.
*The BR and Carbine changes leave a lot to be desired, especially when paired with the increase in shield strength of basic Elites, but it does seem like some of this have been addressed in later versions.

Otherwise this last bit is less a criticism and more of a request, but it would be nice if you could make a separate version or patch that reverts the changes that cause issues with the Anniversary Graphics, such as the ODST/Navy Dress, until we get proper modding tools. I totally understand if you don't want to maintain two versions, but it would be great if I could play with you rebalance and enjoy the Anniversary graphics at the same time.

I can't wait to play your rebalanced version of Halo 3 with that increased FOV and centered crosshairs.

I fairly like the mod too, but I honestly think it doesn't fix the legendary campaign and it's tediousness at all. Like you mentioned about the Brute's immunity to being assassinated, it removes the point of using cloak and effectively pick out key targets in close range, before going back to cover. But the worst part is that Ruby made the Flood combat forms un-headshottable (if that's a word), which means that you no longer have the option to defend yourself from a charging combat form with a headshot weapon and instantly die in two fast consecutive hits. And we all know how frequent and cheap the Flood's spawns are.

I'm going of my Heroic experience as I typically don't play legendary for fun so I can't attest to your experience. That said I actually prefer the flood being more or less immune to headshots and I hope that carries over into the Halo 3 rebalance. IMO being able to easily kill Flood at range makes dealing takes all the fun out of them for me. I enjoyed fighting the Flood in CE because dealing with them was all about crowd control and fancy footwork compared to the more complex and methodical approach to dealing with Covenant.

From my perspective long range weapons and plasma weapons should be least effective at dealing with Flood whereas close range weapons like the Sword/shotgun/SMG should be your best friends when dealing with flood.

Every Brute rank aside from Captains can be one-shotted by the Sword, so there's still a method of stealthily killing them.

And I get that, it just feels a bit odd to take that tool out of our toolbox for one of the main enemy types in the latter part of the H2 campaign and all of H3. I agree with the notion that tangling with Brutes at melee range should be a particularly dangerous proposition, I just don't think bladed weapons should be the only effective option, especially if you can get behind them.

Being immune to assassinations and heavily resistant to normal melee attacks is some I tend to associate with the Flood more than Brutes, but not everyone has the same design philosophy.

Love The mod but I am having this weird issue when I am trying to play the unmodded campaign when turning on the anticheat. The AntiCheat doesn't work and I am still stuck with the modded campaign.

I would just make a backup on the original campaign files and then move the modded ones over. Any modded levels in MCC won't load with EAC since it goes through some sort of checksum. That way you can continue to play a modded or unmodded version whenever.

If you didn't back up the files and want to go back to the original just delete the modded campaign levels in your halo 2 folder. Then just go to steam and verify your game files, it will just replace them and you don't need to install the entire game again.

Something seriously needs to be done about the sentinels ragdolling vehicles with the beams in Quarantine Zone. The level is completely unplayable. My teammates and I keep getting flung off the map by blue beams.

It's a pretty big issue in an otherwise pretty great mod. So many weapons are so much more viable now, and I like that the mod isn't directed only towards Legendary. Personally I like Heroic with some skulls on to customize my difficulty a bit. Makes for a much more interesting experience than on Legendary imo.

I also enjoy that you made the spec ops elites a black color instead of the weird dark purple that the vanilla game had. CE spec ops elites were always the coolest in their black armor.

My only gripe is that Quarantine Zone is completely unplayable because of the force of the sentinel beams. Many allies are still bugged in specific locations in Uprising as well although I comprehend that that probably wasn't in the scope of your mod.

I haven't had any problem dodging Eliminator Sentinel Beams in vehicles. All it takes is some light strafing.

Yes but what about people that like to go passenger? Or gunner? Sometimes it's fun having the AI take the wheel, and I don't want to feel like I *have* to otherwise my Spectre is going to flip straight off the ENTIRE map because of the Blue Sentinels.

I think you should consider the different ways in which people engage with the game. Don't get me wrong, I have a lot of respect for your work, but this definitely feels like an oversight. Myself and my teammate Elites are getting flung *everywhere.* It was funny at first, and even more funny with the Sputnik skull, but it's killing the level for me and other people who have posted about this exact issue. There's another person that posted about it just yesterday.

It's pretty much common knowledge that you should never let the AI drive for you in a Halo game. Yes, the option exists, but you can't be disappointed when you keep dying over. Definitely not an oversight I'd say.

EDIT: just noticed he fixed that for ya, HA! Still, just saying :P

I'm currently getting a bug where most of my ODST's are in navy dress whites.

When playing co-op, on any mission as soon as an AI fires its gun it kicks both players back to the menu.

Is there a fix for this bug?

Is there any way you can remove the legendary co-op campaign death penalty?

I second this as an option as even though it was in vanilla HL2 as it stands in MCC it is essentially just having the "Iron Skull" on always and for co-op campaigns would make legendary runs in this more fun as an option.

One little thing that could be changed: in the first hanger on Cairo, there are two piles of plasma grenades on the upper walkways, but I feel it would make more sense to have frags that the Marines gathered there.

Great mod, but massive shame it isn't optimized for anniversary graphics :(.
