This mod is a complete overhaul for reach, this includes everything from new additions and tweaks to the existing sandbox, new damage types, ammo drops for enemies, new hud, and various ai tweaks.

Backing up the vanilla maps
First, locate your maps folder under "Steam\steamapps\common\Halo The Master Chief Collection\haloreach\maps". Make a backup of all the maps so that you can always revert to the default maps.
Backing up the vanilla sound files
First, locate your maps folder under "steamapps\common\Halo The Master Chief Collection\haloreach\fmod\pc". Make a backup of the "sfx.fsb" and "sfx.fsb.info".
Installing the mod
This last part is pretty simple, in your "Halo The Master Chief Collection" folder just drag the "haloreach" folder from the mod into your game's folder and replace all of the files.

Global Changes
  • Rebalanced heroic and legendary damage scaling
  • Buffed ally damage values
  • Added new damage types
  • Buffed emp damage
  • Edited weapon strings to display their full model name as well as firing mode and damage type
  • Covenant enemies now drop ammo equipment
  • Added a new shield bar to the hud
  • All weapon magazines now display a number value in the hud
  • Reduced bloom globally and allow weapons to have zero bloom if crouched
  • Increased spartan walk speeds and jump height slightly
  • Night vision now behaves more like ODST's visr mode

Firefight Changes
  • Added new weapons that spawn on the map every round
  • Added new equipment that spawn on the map every round
  • All enemy waves have been reworked to include new ranks and weapons
  • Replaced the elite heretic wave with "insurrectionist"

Weapon Changes
  • Vanilla sandbox has had massive reworks to keep them on par with the new weapons
  • Turrets now overheat regardless if they are mounted or not but also have increased fire rates
  • Frag grenades now have a stun effect
  • Plasma grenades now have an emp effect
  • Added a UNSC Machete
  • Added the Socom Automag
  • Added the H2A Battle RIfle
  • Added the H2A Assault Rifle
  • Added an Assault Rifle variant with a grenade launcher

Equipment Changes
  • Active camo strength is increased at the cost of more energy recovery time
  • Removed the radar jamming effect from active camo
  • Armor Lock shockwave is massively increased and can now be used on the move
  • Drop Shield can now be used in the air
  • Evade can now be used in the air
  • Hologram duration is increased
  • Hologram can be used with support weapons
  • Jetpack is slightly nerfed in terms of energy use and max velocity
  • Sprint energy recovery and active use time are slightly decreased
  • Added UNSC Ammo Packs
  • Added COV Ammo Packs
  • Added the Speed Boost Armor Ability
  • Added the Health Regen Armor Ability
  • Added the Enhanced Radar Armor Ability
  • Added the Hex Shield Armor Ability
  • Added the Shield Overcharge Armor Ability
  • Added the Melee Berserk Armor Ability
  • Added the Ground Pound Armor Ability

Character Changes

General
  • Added grunt, elite, and brute classic voice lines
  • Added the climb and check friend behavior for various enemies
  • Elites and brutes can now use various armor abilities and equipment
  • Added Sentinels
  • Added Guilty Spark boss to firefight

Brutes
  • Restored the "brute flesh material"
  • Added Brute Ultra, Captain, Stalker, Warlord, and War Chieftain ranks
  • Increased brute melee range and velocity
  • Brutes can now use plasma rifles

Grunts
  • Added Grunt Spec Ops and Assault ranks
  • Spec Ops grunts can now use active camo
  • Added shield effects for grunt ultra, spec ops, and assault ranks
  • Grunt backpacks now violently explode upon destruction

Elites
  • Increased armor variety for elites
  • Decreased melee chance for elites
  • Decreased melee damage for elites
  • Increased cover shield fraction for elites
  • Increased cover time for elites
  • Increased search distance for elites
  • Added a major rank separate from the officer rank
  • Added a jetpack major rank
  • Added a zealot rank for the elites that carry a ce inspired cut arm shield

Jackals/Skirmishers
  • Added the Jackal Ultra rank
  • Decreased jackal shield vitality
  • Increased shield stun time for jackals
  • Both can now use plasma repeaters
  • Added the Skirmisher Assault rank
  • Added shield effects for skirmisher assault and champion ranks

Hunters
  • Hunters can now be boarded
  • Added hunter major and pulse ranks
  • Added the hunter beam and pulse cannons

Misc
  • Reduced health values for the drones
  • Spartan allies can now trade weapons

Vehicle Changes
  • All vehicles display hull values
  • All civilian vehicles have had their speed and gravity scales increased
  • All vehicles have had their speed and gravity scales increased
  • Enabled passenger seats for the Troop warthog
  • Increased rocket warthog projectile initial velocity
  • Enable passenger seats for the Scorpion
  • The Ghost and Banshee now behave like their CE counterparts
  • Revenant and Wraith have increased slide speeds
  • Shade Turrets have their aiming values increased
  • Decreased body vitality for Phantom and Spirit chinguns
