A complete re-skin/overhaul of the Halo 3 MCC multiplayer map Snowbound. What was once a frozen arctic wasteland, now overgrown with fields of foliage and wildlife.. The battle wages on..

HALO: EARTHBOUND
-A mod for Halo 3 MCC Snowbound-
Several centuries have passed since the destruction of this planet's fourth moon.
The long-term effect caused this planet to slowly drift and change it's axis.
Turning what was once a desolate frozen wasteland, into a tropical paradise.
Although, this extreme climate change seems to have awaken an old enemy.

MODS
- A complete overhaul/re-imagining of Halo 3's multiplayer map Snowbound
- Entire map has been reskinned to better fit the new theme
- New skybox with custom fog, rain, and thunder with lightning storm effects
- Pools of water with proper splash effect plus sound!
- All new decorators, crates, scenery, and decals throughout the map
- New sound scenery added to the map to give it a more "rainy-jungle" atmosphere
- Custom made WATERFALL!!
- Grass, dirt, and water have proper footstep and impact effects plus sounds (material effects)
- Ambient creatures have been added (quadwings)
- Tons of AI added (Marines, ODSTs, Elites, Brutes, and all forms of the Flood)
- All non-Flood characters have full Flood re-animation properties
- Flood meteorites and Covenant insertion pods!!
- Scripted events (Phantoms and Pelicans that drop off troops and vehicles and even a Seraph Bomber!)
( IMPORTANT: Team Slayer is the preferred gametype, and team colors are as follows. )
Green = UNSC
Orange = Covenant
Purple = Flood

________ INSTALLATION ___________
1. Make a backup copy of your original "snowbound.map" in your Halo 3 maps folder
2. Download and extract the "Earthbound(Redux).zip" file
3. I have included (2) versions of the map, one with AI enabled and one without
(makes it easier to check out the map without all the AI craziness going on)
3. Place the "snowbound.map" file that you extracted into your Halo 3 maps folder
(SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Halo The Master Chief Collection\halo3\maps)
4. Start The Master Chief Collection game, making sure to start with Easy Anti Cheat [EAC] DISABLED
5. Enjoy the mod!
