About this mod

This is a halo 3 phantom that i have ported to halo 2. The idea to make this phantom came to me when i added friendly phantom encounters in the arbiter missions near the end of the game, the brutes would use the new h3 prototype phantom and the elites would keep the normal phantom, this would help distinguish which phantoms are enemies/allies.

The shaders/bitmaps may need a little bit more work but the vehicle does work as intended. I couldn't get the halo 3 phantom bitmaps imported from halo 3 so i had to improvise.

The physics and collision models work with this model.

This phantom has one chin_gun turret like halo 3 but the fire rate and the projectiles are more similar to the halo reach phantom chin_gun, It also has two plasma cannons on each side(left and right).

I have set up seats on the inside of the phantom, currently only brutes,jackals and grunts have idle animations for being in the seats but don't have any working exit animations so when they exit they will just get stuck and likely die but that's more to do with the characters animations. I have also added fully working seats for the gravlift that work the same way as the normal phantom.

The phantom is still not fully destructible, the only parts that are destructible are the left and right engines(lacking sounds,particles and debri)

The back rudders,tail and side turret platforms are destructible within the render model but disabled by default, if you want to make these destructible then you need to fill out the values and information in the model.tag for the phantom, they would also still lack sound effects,particles and debri.
