About this mod

A port of the Halo 2 Spectre vehicle to Halo 3, fine-tuned to Halo 3's sandbox. Includes alt skins & an alternate turret variant.

Halo 3 Spectre
This is a port of the Halo 2 spectre with an enhanced standard model & upscaled textures.

The spectre itself is pre-balanced to Halo 3's sandbox. I was originally going to include a duplicate vehicle for just the raw Halo 2 spectre as well, but this is taking up far too much of my time as-is.

Spectre Features
This spectre has several alternate variants which can be assigned within the map editor or within script. These variants are:
  • "default" - Default spectre
  • "heretic" - Heretic-themed skin for the spectre
  • "kai" - Halo 2/Halo 3 seraph-themed skin for the spectre
  • "shadow" - A variant using a Halo CE-esque turret based on the cut "Shadow" vehicle from Halo Combat Evolved.

This vehicle has completely set up damage regions, damage & death effects, etc.
All turrets have a complete sound setup in place out of the box.

Excluding the spectre & turrets themselves, this makes no other use of additional content, keeping the filesize impact of this vehicle as minimum as possible.QoL Features:
  • A README.txt file with information on how to set up AI usage for this vehicle
  • uses a variety of existing animations in the game to ensure the most amount of characters possible can use this vehicle.
