About this mod

A campaign modification to restore cut/earlier content that was being developed as the final release build came to be delivered as we all know Halo CE. Cooperative play compatible.

This campaign has been under construction since 2012, since then I tried to gather as much information as possible to build this called Pre-Release mod.

Content found on game cover art box, magazines, TV/Demo trailers, iconic BR from H2 E3 Demo and the Halo Beta version 1749.

Note: This is a Work-In-Progress, nothing is final and it is subject to change.

Version 04-October-2022

- Plasma Pistol/Rifle can be reloaded by covenant/player and can be picked up as ammo;
- Restored needler shaders with xbox tags from mcc tagpack;
- Elites/Jackals/Grunts reload their weapons and animations are rendered;
- Added Covenant Spirit Dropship spotlight for night time levels;
- Level "Two Betrayals" vehicle placement dependency was messed up while removing a vehicle asset, overhaul placed vehicles is now fixed;
- Previous versions changes had bugs, which has been fixed;

Version 01-October-2022
- New feature: Near by explosions or shooting directly to another weapon or ammo equipment, will cause it to explode (Flamethrower/Fuel Ammo, Rocket             Launcher/Rocket Ammo, Fuel Rod Gun/Fuel Ammo, Needler/Needle Ammo, Plasma Pistol/Rifle, Frag/Plasma Grenades);
- Banshee/Ghost weapon firing speed rate changed to max default value;
- Covenant weapons can now be seen on characters hands and used when they are riding the Spirit Dropship;
- Added Grunt Heavy variant with Fuel Rod gun, once killed, ammo is dropped;
- Corrected grunt shaders and reflections;
- Fixed inability for grunts to hold Fuel Rod gun;
- Restored MacWorld Fuel Rod gun textures and reflective shaders;
- Gearbox Plasma Cannon replaced with Fuel Rod gun (Mynameislol's weapon tag);
- Fuel Rod gun has two firing modes, normal heavy fuel rod and charged fuel rod shot;
- Hunters once killed drop Fuel Rod ammo;
- Restored old weapon placement ground point position when dropped on the floor;
- General vehicle burning effect timer increased;

Version 17-September-2022
- Upon 16-09-2022 update, a bug was encountered flying still on start of 2nd level.
- Elite minor (blue rank) armor self-illumination on his arms and legs glow with shield vitality.
- Grunts can melee other characters and have dialogue (fix);

- Cinematic cutscenes field of view increased;
- Pelican brakes animation;
- MacWorld Ghost interior dash, new running lights and weapon firing effects;

- Grunts can gesture when enemy is spotted, can melee other characters;
