It's been a long time coming! This mod lets you use your multiplayer spartan or elite as well as your weapon & vehicle skins in the campaign of Halo 3 on MCC. It allows you to use the MCC customization menu to make changes to your multiplayer biped which will then be applied on the fly in campaign. No need to manually adjust anything in the map files! It essentially works just like Halo Reach does with a shared spartan or elite between campaign and multiplayer!

UPDATE: This mod now fully supports co-op with both players showing up in cutscenes regardless of what their preferred species is!

Installation Instructions:
1. Navigate to the folder of your Halo 3 MCC installation location, most commonly:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Halo The Master Chief Collection\halo3"

2. (Optional) Rename or make a backup of the "halo3.dll" file and the "maps folder in this folder. Sometimes the original dll file can cause issues so it might help to move it to a different folder.

DO NOT DELETE THE CONTENTS OF THE ORIGINAL FOLDERS WHEN BACKING UP! You still need all the other files in there. After backing up, simply let Windows replace the original files with the modded ones.

3. Copy the entire contents of this folder in this mod (halo3.dll and maps folder) into this folder. Make sure to replace all files it asks you to.

4. Start up MCC with Anti-Cheat disabled. If you don't disable it then you won't be able to start any campaign missions.

5. You're all set at this point! Use the MCC customization menu to change the armor you'll be using in the campaign!

Note:
While all species are universally supported and interchageable now for cutscenes, if you're playing as a species that's not the originally intended one, it will look a little janky in cutscenes. Lipsync during cutscene dialog only works on the standard combat elite helmet.
