I know there's a weapon upgrade cost modifier, but wanted to make an extremely simple mod that lets you upgrade your weapons for free without having to go through any modification yourself, without costing any titan blood

This mod only works for this purpose, renovations, per example, will cost the same as usual unless you download a separate mod to make this free. Play tested on the Steam version of Hades in a cloud save used on both Switch and Steam (Since my Switch Hades isn't modded, weapon upgrades will not be free there but upgrades are permanent)

NOTES:
-Make backups of this mod and the file you need to replace in order to make this mod work. This is very important

-This mod will not unlock weapon upgrades if you haven't unlocked them yet nor unlock the 4th aspect of this weapon for you. This mod simply changes the cost of weapon upgrades to 0

Instructions!

1. Go to the folder where your Hades game files are (If you're on Steam, go to your library, right click Hades, click on "Manage", then "Browse Local Files". This will take you to the game folder

2. Go to the folder named "Content", then from there to the one called "Scripts". Make a backup of "WeaponUpgradeData.lua" in that folder and PLEASE don't lose this file, copy it into another folder, separate to where you keep the files for this mod (To avoid mixups)

3. Unzip your downloaded mod file, also keep a copy of this file somewhere. Do not rename (Like your original file, make sure the mod file is also named "WeaponUpgradeData.lua". This is the default name, but I put this as an extra precaution. If the file is named something else the mod WON'T WORK

4. Replace the WeaponUpgradeData.lua in your scripts folder with the mod version

5. Run Hades. You might need to go in a run and die for the items to appear as free. This is normal, as the values need to update

6. Go to upgrade your weapons and voila! Every weapon upgrade should be free

To disable this mod, simply replace the modded file with your original  "WeaponUpgradeData.lua" and everything should go back to normal. I strongly recommend disabling this mod when not upgrading weapons, just in case to avoid any potential crashing. I haven't experienced any crashes with this mod, but I have with similar mods and it's best to be safe, especially since weapon upgrades are permanent anyway
