This is a ReShade that will improve the visuals, hide blemishes, intensify colros, as well as give the game a more fantasy like look (bright, warm, vivid, and fuzzy). I made this reshade preset in order to be compatible with all games. If I update the preset in another game I will update it here but I probably will not update the pictures.
Updates from v1.050 to v1.1
No Pirate Shaders (yay!). Only uses Legacy Package
Now includes low, medium, high, and ultra.
Better placement of shading order
INSTALLATION
PART A
**This Requires Reshade**
1.To Install Reshade first download and run the reshade exe from https://reshade.me/
2. After running, select hackGU from the list of scanned games.
2a. if it doesnt detect select your hackGU directory
3. Select direct 3d 10/11/12 (click on dot)
4.select install just the Legacy Package. Click "Check All" on the Legacy page.
4a. if you wish you may install more packages but might run into duplicates if installing all
5. at the very least you must have the Legacy Package **MAKE SURE YOU SELECT ALL BOXES WHEN INSTALLING OR ELSE YOU WON'T HAVE THE FX USED IN THIS SHADER**
PART B
1. Download the zip file from this page
2. Extract the HD Fantasy.ini to your game directory where the exe is - something like
\Steam\steamapps\common\hackGU
3.Open game
4.Click Home button on keyboard to open the ReShade gui
5.skip tutorial if you wish
6. click on right arrow at the top left until you see HD Fantasy
7. Select your preference Low, Medium, High, or Ultra
8.Close gui by clicking home on the keyboard
PART C
1. On Start Menu Screen press Q on keybaord or X on controller
2.Click the "Steam" option
3. go to graphics
4. Turn OFF AA, Shadows, and set Texture Filtering to Low as these: A. don't do anything B. will give you horrible fps issues even on high end PCs (this is a ps2 game after all), and C. are already mostly covered in this ReShade and are better optimized

Performance Issues?
I have included a low, medium, high, and ultra in this. Choose your flavor. If you have performance issues with this you can turn off some of the settings in the reshades or just choose another. Also read part C.
