This mod changes some of the in-game text to reflect the real world locations. So Ganton is now Compton, Idlewood is now Inglewood, etc. For a more detailed list of whats been changed so far check the read me. This was made to go along with other mods used to make the game more like Cali/Nevada, such as LAPD mods etc. This changes the map text, as well as subtitle text. The goal is to convert evert area to a real world counterpart. To install just drop the american.gtx file in the games text folder. Any mod which replaces the american.gxt file will cause a confict and this mod will fail to load. For example, 7-11 Burger King KFC Pizza Hut v2.5 by_freshmilk69 contains an edited american.gxt to change the restaurant names in the menus. I will be changing everything as I go along, including restaurant names and such, so this 1 file will suffice to replace them all. For now, in order to utilize this file remove conflicts by deleting american.gxt from other mods. Eventually you will have the text changed back!
