What is this mod about?

This mod is an adaptation / interpretation of the weapons of the video game Paladins: Champions of the Realm, which aims to bring to Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas an imitation of the aforementioned weapons. If you want to have a pleasant gaming experience, it is always advisable to opt for the original video game rather than this mod.

What do I get after installing the mod?

This mod adds 55 new weapons to the game, each one with different attributes based on the original weapons of the video game Paladins: Champions of the Realm. Among the weapons mentioned are:

  • 48 new weapons (in total)
  • 11 normal weapons
  • 26 weapons with a special ability
  • 11 weapons with dual mode of operation
  • 5 weapons with their own skin
  • 3 weapons with an additional companion

How do I get the weapons in the game?

To obtain in-game weapons, type the name of the weapon you wish to have (the weapons have the same names as their respective champions). This will equip the weapon with infinite ammo in your inventory.

How do I use the weapons with dual function or special ability?

It's pretty simple, just equip yourself with a weapon that has this feature and press the [Tab] key to switch to the secondary weapon. Note that some secondary weapons automatically switch back to the main weapon after a while.

Why can't I buy weapons in Ammu-Nation?

Adding the weapons to Ammu-Nation would make this mod incompatible with many others, besides having to start a new game in order to get the weapons, since you have to modify the game's core files for the weapons to appear in the store, and who wants to lose their progress in the game just to get a weapon?

Does this mod support custom HUDs?

Unfortunately during the development of the mod I have realized that the $fastmanlimitadjuster plugin (used to add new stuff to the game) is not compatible with most custom HUDs, so the answer is no, at least for the moment I have not managed to make the mod work with the GTA V HUD nor with the GTA IV HUD. When you add new weapons to these custom HUDs, you immediately get an error message in the game. The only HUD that works without problems is the GTA San Andreas Mobile HUD.

What bugs does this mod have?

At the moment, the only bug I found during the testing stage was the problem with the HUDs mentioned above, and also maybe the first time you open the game it will close due to a random error, but this does not happen again.
