Thank You for this mod. Using its structure i can add even more cars to the game. Also i figured out an easy way to make the added cars purchasable by using the Premium Deluxe Motorsport Shop mod, and i need to add the cars from this mod to thats mod addons ini file, by adding the hash and the model car name and setting a price.....my example:
also i had to enable the addons.ini file in the config.ini file of the Premium Deluxe mod.
...and it WORKS ! -maybe this will hep somebody to not lose a few hours of messing around with the ini files.
I was messing around with this for the past two hours, and finally i bought the ferrari italia 458 ingame from that mods shop...really cool...finally a good way to spend all that money. Now to continue adding the remaining 17 cars from this dlc pack...
(in real life, /i googled it/ the 458 costs 4.7 mill dollars, but spending that much on an ingame car is a waste in my opinion, so i ate a zero from the price, cuz i use up cars real fast
4.7 million dollars for a 458 Italia??? I don't think so... At least not USA, Canadian or Ausralian/NewZeland dollars... A 458 Italia costs $230,000 US dollars, which would be the same currency used in GTAV considering the game takes place in a country based off of the USA.
Why are there no instructions for how to install the mod?? I have never seen anything as frustrating and unhelpful and GTA V mods. Other games when you are modding on the nexus, there are clear instructions in case you are new. I cant get any mods to work. I just get Scripthook V error saying Unknown game version. Game wont even launch
I agree with you. I used to think modding The Witcher 3 was difficult due to overall lack of documentation/support (vs games like Fallout/TES), but GTAV mods are a whole other level with how the game has "archive-like" files built in which have to be accessed with OpenIV. Going to try this one out and let you know. Hang tight.
Ok, so im new to modding. ive game the game downloaded and installed. i downloaded and installed openiv and winrar, dont really know why people love .rar files, zip files are way better. i extracted the dlclist.txt file. i downloaded and installed both the trainer and scripthookv. made all the necessary changes to the txt file per the readme txt. then my game refuses to open because the version of scripthook i have is unsupported, even though the version i got is on the supported list. can any help?
How interesting, you're new to modding but clearly an expert on file formats. Care to explain why the heck you're installing winrar to open rar files? Since you already stated zip files are "way better" I assume you have a good argument for actually using winrar over other software.
Hey pizza, i don't have an specific solution about your issue but maybe you should consider a couple of things: The date of this mod, most mods from 2015 were made taking in consideration that files had to be changed in files located in the game root folder and not inside update.rpf (latest version of this game requires files to be changed inside the file mentioned last). Files that isntroduce new weapons, cars, maps, requires modifying the packfiles limit the game can handle with mods like Packfile Limit Adjuster or Weapons Limit Adjuster, again im sure the mod author would have advised if this mod was a case for using those limit adjusters before installing but since it was made 8 years ago.. you get the idea? And finally, just a personal recommendation, try look up if the mod was updated in gta5-mods.com or post your doubts/concerns on their forums. Nexusmods is an awesome site with lot of people that will help you with anything you need (except for CinemaSoul up here) but gta5-mods has an up to date and more active community.
Is there a way to add use this mod with the GTAV Mod Manager? Because, while I'm not a big Online player, I never make a mod for SP without MM to help clean up things in case I do decide to drop in.

A 458 costs just shy of 300,000.
4.7 mil is more along the lines of what a formula 1 car would cost to purchase severely used.
