About this mod

Based on the 2011 Carmageddon mod for GTA IV by Gipphe, with added features like vehicle skipping on water, increased deformation damage, and adjusted center of gravity so cars are less likely to clip through the ground.

I noticed there wasn't really a Carmageddon mod for GTA 5 that was quite like the one for GTA 4 by Gipphe so I decided to make one a bit closer to that one (the overall traction is adjusted rather than just the front/rear traction bias), and with some added features and other adjustments/fixes. Cars can now skip on water. Go to the beach with a wanted level and watch as cop cars fling themselves into the water and skip along until they vanish in the distance.
Also increased deformation damage on vehicles. Something that was always missing from GTA 5 was the crumple damage we had like in GTA 4 and I made it even higher.
Also adjusted the center of gravity of vehicles to be slightly lower so vehicles are less likely to get stuck in the ground or stop for no reason. It's still not perfect, like it wasn't perfect in GTa 4 either but it's improved.

Note, this only applies to vanilla vehicles, which are 90% of cars that spawn on the road but you may notice a few cars that drive normal. Perhaps in a future update I'll figure out how to make all vehicles.

Installation:
Unzip the zip archive using your preferred tool such as 7zip or winrar. extract the OIV file (which is also an archive much like the zip, and you can open the archive and pull out the modded files if you wish)
OIV file needs to be installed using Open IV (tools>package installer). Select the "mods folder" option and then install.

The default path for the file is root>update>update.rpf>common>data>handling.meta  (root= the Grand Theft Auto 5 install folder)

Uninstallation:
To uninstall just follow the above path at the root and pull out (or right click>extract) the handling file and save it to your desktop, then go into the mods folder and follow the same path (minus the root part) and then delete the handling file and import the original file you saved.

Alternatively, you can simply delete the mods folder or rename it to anything else and that will get your game back to the original.
