Author notes
If you want to use my specific changes in your own modpack or something it'd be nice of you to give credit, but it's just tinkering with the handling file after all

To better suit the gameplay needs and make the world seem bigger, both top speed and damage have been minimized in the original GTAIV. Until now.
Based on data from IGCD.net and automobile-catalog.com, most land vehicles have their specs overhauled to match their real-life counterparts - that includes top speed, number of gears and whether they're RWD, FWD or AWD.
What's more, damage has been tinkered with - in general: now the newer the car, the safer it is. It makes fast driving even more challenging, but also rewarding. (And the crashes are pretty spectacular.)
In mission chases, as the opponents' speed is scripted, the only added challenge is not crashing.
The mod has 3 versions available: - More Damage - More Damage and Realistic Performance (with aformentioned realistic specs) - Even More Damage and Realistic Performance (pictured)
