The HK 417 is a DMR designed and manufactured by Heckler & Koch. It is the larger caliber version of the HK 416, being chambered in 7.62×51mm NATO, it is intended for use where the penetrative power, stopping power, and range of the 5.56×45mm NATO HK 416 would otherwise be insufficient.
M110 Replacement: Standard HK 417, with an A1 handguard and MR762 Slimline stock. Available in BLK or FDE. M110 K1 Replacement: Custom HK 417 "Counter-Sniper" conversion kit, fitting on a Magpul UBR Gen2 stock, as well as an extended barrel with a muzzle block. Suppressor option will instead swap out the heavy barrel with a hex integral suppressor. Available in BLK or FDE. This variant of the HK417 is a custom design I put together as a pair for the normal 417, since replacing the M110 means the M110 K1 should be replaced too.
